Our Research Institute
Global Bridge Institute hopes that by working together to address the practical needs of missionaries on the field, missionaries will grow and ultimately develop biblically sound mission strategies that are suitable for the local context.
The Global Bridge Institute was established to respond to the rapidly changing landscape of world missions. Since the events of September 11, 2001, conflicts between various civilizations—including the Islamic world—have intensified, and frontier mission fields have become even more dynamic. Amid this turmoil, the local people’s longing for truth has only grown stronger, underscoring the need for new missional approaches and mission work that can adapt to swiftly changing conditions on the field.
As globalization fuels increased population mobility—through immigration, refugees, international study, and travel—the frontier mission field no longer operates under a stable framework. Moreover, the younger generations, shaped by media and social networks, demand new forms of engagement, creating a highly dynamic environment.
In response to these changes, the Global Bridge Institute has been launched to meet the need for ministry and strategies suited to these dynamic mission fields. It provides a platform where field workers and experts from diverse sectors can come together to share real issues and concerns from the field. Through seminars and symposiums, the Global Bridge Institute seeks to enhance the professionalism of field workers and foster cooperative ministry that generates synergy across different regions and areas.
Our goal is to strengthen understanding and expertise in field ministry through the Global Bridge Institute, thereby exerting a positive and healthy influence on all local churches. We strive to help local churches and mission organizations combine their unique gifts and characteristics to accomplish beautiful, collaborative ministry.
In accordance with these timely needs, we focus on enabling field workers and experts in various domains to share analysis and insights on frontier mission fields. The articles and materials produced during this process will be published under the name Voice of Pioneers as publications, thereby reaching a wider audience.
